Tina Jorgensen

I was born in Denmark but moved to Barcelona more than 20 years ago.

I love everything about boats and being able to spend my time in and around boats, things cannot get much better!

I am passionate about my work, always aiming to provide the very best service to my clients, building trustful relationships based on transparency and honestly.

What did you do before working with Boatshed?

For many years I worked in the corporate world, but around 10 years ago it was time for a change. I became a boat owner and it was the start of my 'new' life! When joining Boatshed, I already worked as a commercial for a sailmaker, and this job perfectly combines with the broker job.

What attracted you to become part of the Boatshed team?

I met Neil Chapman (CEO and founder of Boatshed) during the preparation of the MGR (Mini Globe Race). His knowledge and passion for the industry inspired me.

Are you a motorboater or a sailor?

I'm a sailor, but I would be happy onboard almost anything which floats!

What is your most memorable boating experience?

When I first time stepped onboard a 60' sailboat in Barcelona, almost 30 years ago. A boat with a lot of history; having participated in two Whitbread Round the World Races. I was just onboard for a week, sailing to the Balearics. However, it was love at first sight!
