Boatshed Wales is delighted to offer for sale this charming Leisure 23 yacht.
As shown in our video walkaround, "Nina" is currently afloat and ready to sail. She comes equipped with a 5-horsepower Johnson outboard mounted on a lifting stern bracket, along with a recently serviced inboard Volvo Penta engine. Additionally, a transom-mounted Honda 2.3 horsepower tender engine is included.
The deep cockpit offers an unexpectedly spacious area, providing a safe and comfortable space while underway and relaxing at anchor. The aft locker contains two fuel tanks, a gas bottle, and ample extra storage space.
Below deck, the cabin features a sink with a draining board and a two-burner gas stove. The saloon seating and drop-down table can be converted into a large double berth to port, while a small V-berth forward and a quarter berth aft provide additional sleeping arrangements.
While the boat does require some attention in certain areas, as is common with older vessels, it feels solidly built and is ideal for anyone looking for a simple, low-maintenance sailing experience without the larger boat commitment.
Currently berthed in the lower basin at Neyland, Pembrokeshire, there is the potential to inherit the berth, subject to negotiation with Neyland Yacht Haven.
